Ivy Tech-Columbus assists Schneck Medical Center through Lean Six Sigma training

Lean Six Sigma training

Ivy Tech Community College-Columbus is helping officials at Schneck Medical Center streamline their processes through Lean Six Sigma training, according to Terrill Paradise, Senior Corporate Trainer in the Workforce and Economic Development department at Ivy Tech.  Classes began at Schneck Medical Center on July 29 and will run through October 16.

Ivy Tech – Columbus headcount up 116 percent in Jackson County

Headcount in Ivy Tech Community College – Columbus classes in Jackson County is up 116 percent this fall as compared to last fall.  A total of 320 students were enrolled on the first day of classes this fall; 148 students were enrolled at the same time last fall.  Ivy Tech classes have been scheduled at Seymour High School, the First Church of the Nazarene, and Schneck Medical Center as a result of ongoing partnerships between Ivy Tech Community College and the community. Ivy Tech-Columbus awards 447 degrees

Ivy Tech Community College will hold its 39th Commencement at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 9, at Franklin Community High School. This will be the first year that the event will be held in Franklin; the College has outgrown both Columbus East and Columbus North High Schools. Ivy Tech officials are excited to hold the event in Franklin, especially because Ivy Tech now has a campus in Franklin. 81 Jackson County residents named to Ivy Tech Fall Semester Dean’s List
