Bryan O’Neal awarded scholarship to Ivy Tech-Columbus/Franklin

Columbus resident Bryan O’Neal has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship to attend Ivy Tech Community College-Columbus/Franklin by Schaeffer Manufacturing Company, of St. Louis, through the National Young Farmer Program. Recipients of these scholarships are required to come from a farm family, be enrolled to attend a state agricultural or related college, and have plans to major in an agricultural or related degree.

Ivy Tech-Columbus offers Academic Incentive Award

Applications for the 2010-11 Ivy Tech Community College Academic Incentive Award are being accepted at the Columbus Region. Ivy Tech-Columbus will award one Academic Incentive Award to a graduating student from each of the following schools: Educational Resource Center of Edinburgh, Jefferson Education Center, Jennings County Adult Education Center, and McDowell Adult Education Center. The individual must be graduating with at least a “C” average and planning to enroll full time (at least 12 credit hours) at Ivy Tech-Columbus. (more…)

Ivy Tech-Columbus offers G.E.D. Merit Scholarship

The Columbus Region of Ivy Tech Community College will award one scholarship to a top scoring G.E.D. recipient pursuing full-time study in the Columbus Region for the 2010-11 academic year. The scholarship, in the amount of $1,000 ($500 per semester for the fall and spring semesters), must be used during the 2010-11 academic year. (more…)

Ivy Tech-Columbus offers Senior Scholarships

Ivy Tech Community College-Columbus is accepting applications for High School Senior Scholarships for the 2010-11 academic year. Each high school is eligible to receive one award for one student in the amount of $1,000 ($500 per semester for the fall and spring semesters).

Applicants must have a grade point average of at least 2.75 on a 4-point scale or equivalent (based on seven semesters) or 3.0 grade point average or equivalent in the seventh semester, plan to enroll full time (at least 12 credit hours) at Ivy Tech’s Columbus Region, and presently attend one of the schools listed below.
