Transfer agreement reached between Ivy Tech-Columbus/Franklin and IUPUC for agriculture program

More college degree options are taking shape in Columbus for those in and around Bartholomew County.  Graduates of the Associate of Science in agriculture program in the Columbus/Franklin region of Ivy Tech Community College can now transfer 60 of their credits to the Bachelor of Science in business degree program at IUPUC. 

Six general education courses, ten business and economics courses, three agriculture electives, and three humanities/social science electives will make up the 60 credits.  After being accepted into the IU B.S. in Business, Ivy Tech transfer students will take the following business courses:  career perspectives, financial management, marketing management, operations management, managing and behavior in organizations, administrative systems, business career planning and placement.  Additional coursework may also be necessary to reach 124 credit hours overall toward the B.S. in business degree.
