Ivy Tech Community College-Columbus is accepting applications for High School Senior Scholarships for the 2010-11 academic year. Each high school is eligible to receive one award for one student in the amount of $1,000 ($500 per semester for the fall and spring semesters).
Applicants must have a grade point average of at least 2.75 on a 4-point scale or equivalent (based on seven semesters) or 3.0 grade point average or equivalent in the seventh semester, plan to enroll full time (at least 12 credit hours) at Ivy Tech’s Columbus Region, and presently attend one of the schools listed below.
One scholarship will be available to a senior student from each of the following high schools: Bethel Holiness Christian School, Brown County High School, Brownstown Central High School, Columbus Christian Academy, Columbus East High School, Columbus North High School, Crothersville High School, Edinburgh High School, Franklin Community High School, Greensburg Community High School, Hauser High School, Indian Creek High School, Jennings County High School, Medora High School, North Decatur High School, Seymour Christian Academy, Seymour High School, South Decatur High School, and Trinity Lutheran High School.
Selection will be based on personal and academic merit. Financial need will also be considered. The application deadline is March 19, 2010.
