Ivy Tech-Columbus’ Terrill Paradise to be featured in national magazines

Terrill Paradise, Senior Corporate Trainer for the Workforce and Economic Development Department and chair of the Advanced Manufacturing and Industrial Technology programs at Ivy Tech Community College-Columbus, will be featured in upcoming issues of two national magazines, Quality Digest and QP (Quality Progress). The magazines, published by the American Society for Quality, focus on quality in the workforce; Paradise will be profiled as a result of his work as a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Ivy Tech-Columbus’ Lean Six Sigma Institute will also be highlighted.

Paradise has provided Lean Six Sigma training to a number of companies and organizations in the region, including the City of Columbus, Columbus Regional Hospital, Electro-Spec in Franklin, and Schneck Medical Center in Seymour. He is also the co-author of a primer on Lean Six Sigma.

The American Society for Quality (ASQ) is a knowledge-based global community of quality control experts, with nearly 85,000 members dedicated to the promotion and advancement of quality tools, principles, and practices in their workplaces and in their communities. Paradise has been a member of ASQ since 1992 and was selected as a Senior Member is 2005.
