Enrollments in the English as a Second Language (ESL) Bridge Program, begun last semester, have grown over 300 percent. The new program enrolled six students during the fall semester; 20 students are now enrolled, and there is room for several additional students.
The purpose of the program is to help individuals improve their English language proficiency in order to be successful either in their careers or in their educational pursuits. Reading, writing, grammar, and listening/speaking in English are taught to the students at their level of need.
