Over the past five years, the headcount at Ivy Tech Columbus has increased by 158%. Spring 2007 enrollment was 2,563; this spring the enrollment is 6,623.

“Ivy Tech-Columbus has grown quickly in a short period of time, and we expect another strong increase this coming fall,” said Randy Proffitt, Ivy Tech executive director of marketing and communications. “This is only a snapshot early in the semester. We have been unable to keep pace with dual credit students and haven’t input them all into our system. We expect our actual growth will be significantly higher than 8 percent.”
