We extend our congratulations to Janet Burton on receiving the Academic of Medical-Surgical Nurses President’s Award.
This award is given in recognition of service to the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN). It is given to an individual who consistently volunteers his or her time and has made significant outstanding contributions in the AMSN achieving its strategic goals.

- Author of The Respiratory System chapter in the AMSN Core Curriculum for Medical-Surgical Nursing.
- Has made outstanding contributions to AMSN
- Exemplifies the mission and values of AMSN
