Ivy Tech’s Janet Burton publishes book chapter

Janet Burton, MSN, BS, RN, CMSRN, adjunct faculty member in nursing at Ivy Tech Community College-Columbus and clinical nurse specialist at Columbus Regional Hospital, has had a chapter published in the book AMSN (Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses) Core Curriculum for Medical-Surgical Nurses The purpose of the book is to provide registered nurses with a reference for preparing to take the national medical-surgical nursing certification exam.

The chapter is titled "The Respiratory System" and is an overview of that system, containing content that a registered nurse with two years of medical-surgical experience should know when caring for medical-surgical patients in an acute care setting.
