Enrollment for summer semester at Ivy Tech Community College-Columbus is up 42.6% compared to the first day of summer semester last year.
Ivy Tech’s first-day summer enrollment was 2,284 as the college began summer semester on May 26. First-day enrollment for the summer term last year totaled 1,602.
The number of full-time equivalent (FTE) students is also on the rise, up more than 51% as compared to last summer term. FTE for first-day enrollment this summer totaled 812.33 as compared to 535.43 last summer.
Chancellor John Hogan commented, “Ivy Tech is continuing to focus on providing programs needed by area residents; we are pleased that we are helping them meet their goals.”
